IK Kristavs
The organic farm "Ausmas" is located in northern Vidzeme, in Naukšēni municipality. The farm started operating in 2018, after inheriting grandfather's property. We manage 3.9 ha of agricultural land where we grow a variety of vegetables.
Tomatoes, peppers and chilli peppers are grown in the greenhouse, while in the field we grow broad beans, carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, onions and other vegetables, as well as watermelons.In 2018 the Latvian Rural Development project "Support for starting a business by developing small farms" was implemented.In 2020 the farm obtained organic farming certification.
