Lapsu Mājas cheese with caraway seeds

An unaged cheese with caraway seeds from Lapsu mājas siers in Ogre. It is made from milk, cream and eggs with no citric acid or vinegar, and each little wheel is shaped by hand. The caraway gives it a familiar, very Latvian flavour.

How to use

• On a slice of fresh rye bread.
• Beside hot mashed or baked potatoes.
• As an evening snack with beer or kvass.

Ingredients: milk, sour cream, eggs, salt 1%, sugar 1%, caraway 1%.

Storage: Keep at 0 °C to +6 °C.
